And so there I was without a job, and without any hot prospects for one either. I thought about going back into the corporate world, but something had changed inside me. The thought of having to jump up and salute every time some stuffed suit in a corner office bellowed my name just turned me ice cold. Uh, Uh... not for me, not any more. I'm a firm believer everyone on this earth is put here for a reason, and I knew breaking my back for some soulless company nit-wit with a title wasn't it. The Concept of Tele-Connecting Was Born There was one thing I was great at — and that was connecting with people. (Former bosses excluded!) While employed, I was often on the phone. It wasn't just about trying to close a sale, it was mostly about building relationships. Talking to people like friends, connecting with them as individuals and not ledger sheets. (That way they get to charge a huge, fat consulting fee for teaching it — the exact same thing you're going to learn from me — but for far, far less!) But lets get back to the original question...
